Father’s Day is just around the corner and it’s always important to find something special to do with your dad. Rain or shine, finding the best way to spend Father’s Day is not always the easiest task, but we’ve got you covered!
Here are seven fun activities to do with Dad and the family this Father's Day:
Hike Local Trails or Parks
No matter your location, there are always parks and trails to enjoy. Spending the day outside will give you the quality dad time you need. Food, sunscreen and water are all important when it comes to a day of hiking, so make sure you don’t forget the essentials.
Spend the day on the Water
If the sun is shining, there’s no better way to spend the day than on the water. Whether boating for leisure, spending the day fishing, or kayaking the lake; a day on the water means a day well spent.
Grill out with the Family
Yard games, good eats, and a day spent outside with your favorite people. What a better way to spend quality time with your family then grilling out and eating the best summertime snacks.
Play a Round of Golf
Start off Father’s Day by spending the morning with your dad on his favorite golf course. Drinks in hand, sun on your face, and your dad by your side; how could it get any better?
Go on a Camping Trip
Make Father’s Day a weekend adventure spent by a campfire. Whether you spend it at your favorite local camping spot, or head to a scenic place out of town, camping will ensure relaxing quality time with your dad and family.
Family Game Night
If the weather decides not to cooperate, spending the day or night inside does not have to put a damper on the festivities. Bring the fun and competitive side out in your family members with a game night. Scattergories, HedBanz, Pictionary, or whatever game you have on hand; bring your game face.
Hit up a Local Brewery or Winery
Spend the day sharing laughs with your loved ones at a local brewery or winery. Making a pit stop at one of your favorite places will be sure to fill your day with good drinks and memories.
