Go on More Hikes
Imagine this: you’re in the middle of the woods, it’s chilly, it’s quiet, and you take a deep breath before getting back to your hike. Most of us are stuck inside, sitting at a desk or on the couch all day, and because of that, it’s more important than ever to get outside and get active.
A hike is a perfect way to get outside, get active, and get inspired. When we spend too much time inside staring at our screens, we start to feel anxious and uninspired.
Spending time in nature can help improve your mood, boost your creativity, and clear your mind of negative thoughts. Unplug and take in the sights, sounds, and smells, and feel your mood change instantly.
Get out there and explore! Here are some tips to get ready for your hike:
- Find a new trail - Google trails in your area or check out an app like Alltrails, and try out a hike you’ve never done before
- Buy some new gear - Stay warm and treat yourself to a Lakes and Grapes beanie
Make a new playlist - Add your favorite songs, pop in your headphones, and let the playlist be the soundtrack to your hike
- Be in the moment - Put your phone on do not disturb to unplug and stay in the moment
